Participants may apply as individuals or teams of two. They may also be specializing in occupations such as marketing, advertising, public relations, or AD technology.

Applications are open from 2 April to 6 June 2024 (KST), by filling out the registration form. Participants will be selected based on their clear motivations for applying, team introduction, and genuine interest in careers. Accepted finalists will be announced on the NEW STARS website on 13 June.

The Final round lasts 30 hours, and participants will make creative ideas that fit the given topic on the spot and compete. And they will listen to the feedback of the judges, who are currently well-known creative experts, and network directly with them.

Kazuhide Adachi, creative director, Dentsu Inc., and NEW STARS judge last year, commented, “The nurturing of young people is necessary so that this industry doesn’t become old and desolate. I think they will destroy what they think is wrong with this industry one after another and rebuild it with a new perspective.”

NEW STARS 2023 Gold winners, Rizki Bastian Vincentius Jeremy and Vinda Perdana, Alva – Olrange, Indonesia, stated, “Sharing perspectives and finally meeting so many creatives from around the world has been incredible. We are deeply honoured to represent Indonesia in this competition and view this achievement as both a reminder and the beginning of all that the future holds.”

NEW STARS is the opportunity for juniors to become the creative they have always wanted to be.
