Junior creatives, are you ready for the most competitive, challenging – and rewarding – marketing advertising competition? MAD STARS is proud to announce the opening of its NEW STARS 2024 competition.
NEW STARS stands out. This opportunity not only spotlights outstanding talent to potential employers throughout the region but also offers junior creatives an immersive experience in one of the global most vibrant creative hubs. The Gold award winner will also receive a workation in Busan, the most picturesque coastal city in Korea.
The competition aims to develop the creative skills that will fast-track career paths, be a showcase for under 5 years junior creatives’ ideas and abilities and enhance their network, introducing them to mentors and judges from the top tiers of the industry.
NEW STARS is the headstart for creatives all over the world who are under five years in their career and aspire to learn and develop their experience to be able to soar. It is scheduled to run from 20 to 23 August, for 4 days at BEXCO in Busan, Republic of Korea. Its judges are composed of ten top level industry professionals from eight countries.

The Final round lasts 30 hours, and participants will make creative ideas that fit the given topic on the spot and compete. And they will listen to the feedback of the judges, who are currently well-known creative experts, and network directly with them.
Kazuhide Adachi, creative director, Dentsu Inc., and NEW STARS judge last year, commented, “The nurturing of young people is necessary so that this industry doesn’t become old and desolate. I think they will destroy what they think is wrong with this industry one after another and rebuild it with a new perspective.”
NEW STARS 2023 Gold winners, Rizki Bastian Vincentius Jeremy and Vinda Perdana, Alva – Olrange, Indonesia, stated, “Sharing perspectives and finally meeting so many creatives from around the world has been incredible. We are deeply honoured to represent Indonesia in this competition and view this achievement as both a reminder and the beginning of all that the future holds.”
NEW STARS is the opportunity for juniors to become the creative they have always wanted to be.
