Don't Show Again Yes, I would!

Samsung Galaxy Ring appears in a promo video ahead of launch

Samsung first teased its first smart ring called the Galaxy Ring alongside the Galaxy S24 series flagships in January. The company finally showcased the new wearable at MWC 2024. The South Korean tech giant is expected to commercially launch the device at its upcoming major Unpacked event on July 10.

Now, just a few days ahead of the launch, the Samsung Galaxy Ring has been briefly spotted in a promotional video for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics.

Samsung may have accidentally leaked the Galaxy Ring in the promo video

Samsung is an official sponsor of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which will kick off by the end of the month. Ahead of the upcoming Unpacked event and Olympic games, the company is running a promo campaign called “Voices of Galaxy.” In the campaign videos, the brand is highlighting the careers of Olympic athletes.

The most recent promotional video from Samsung focuses on Dutch middle and long-distance runner Sifan Hassan. In a few frames of the video, the athlete is wearing what looks like the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Ring. The company may have accidentally leaked the final design of the commercial version of its first smart ring wearable.

As you can see in the photo above, the Galaxy Ring appears to feature the same thick wedding band design. It hasn’t changed much in terms of design, which we saw at the MWC 2024. The Galaxy Ring shown in the video appears to have a shiny gold finish. The company has already teased silver and black variants of the upcoming wearable.

Unfortunately, the promotional video hasn’t shared anything else about the upcoming Galaxy Ring.

Health features of the Galaxy Ring already leaked earlier

Notably, the upcoming Galaxy Ring’s health features already leaked last week. The leaked features suggest that it could very well replace your bulky smartwatches. The smart ring will be capable of heart monitoring, stress tracking, skin temperature monitoring, and snore detection.

The wearable will connect with the Samsung Health app on your smartphone to maintain and show all measurements. More details about the Samsung smart ring will be revealed in less than a week. So, mark your calendars for the upcoming July 10’s Unpacked event.
