Every summer, Fender honours us with a tsunami of new releases. And when you take a look at the five new Fender Squier Affinity 2024 models, you’ll be in the right mood! There’s even a Tom DeLonge-inspired Starcaster!
Fender Squier Affinity 2024: What’s new for summer 2024!
Let’s take a look at the new additions to Squier’s Affinity range. What remains the same from the previous Affinity models are the Squier pickups, open die-cast tuners and c-profile necks. The most exciting addition to the Fender Squier Affinity 2024 is the Starclassic Deluxe, probably based on Blink182’s Tom Delonge’s signature model from Fender – two colours, semi-hollow and humbucker can be found here at Thomann* for 339,- Euro.
Squier is also expanding their Thinline series. Two new colours are available for the semi-hollow Tele, as always with Squier single-coils, at Thomann* for 279,- Euro. There is also a “usual” Tele with a flamed maple top in Crimson Red Transparent and Mocha – available at Thomann* for 279,- Euro each.
Jaguars at Affinity at last!
When you say Tele, you have to say Strat and Jag. The Fender Squier Affinity 2024 series includes a Stratocaster Junior in HSS format in two colours for 249 Euros at Thomann*. The same goes for the premiere of the Affinity Jaguar: two colours, two single-coil pickups – available at Thomann* for 279 Euros.
There’s also something for bassists. The Affinity series has been extended by three jazz bass models: the Active Jazz Bass, Active Jazz Bass V and Active Jazz Bass VI. The Affinity Series is completed by the Affinity Series Stratocaster Mustang Micro Pack – a complete beginner’s package consisting of Strat, Mustang Mic (a headphone practice amp) and Presonus headphones for 379 Euros.
