Network of the Year goes to Ogilvy with DDB, VML, TBWA, Leo Burnett + Dentsu making up this year’s top 6 – togetherbe

Ogilvy has emerged as the top network performer in Campaign Brief’s THE WORK 2024. Ogilvy edged out DDB, VML and TBWA to be named APAC Network of the Year in THE WORK 2024.

 

This year’s #1 Network is Ogilvy with 117 Acceptances, just 2 Acceptances in front of DDB. Ogilvy’s biggest contributor to their tally was THE WORK 2024’s APAC Agency of the Year Ogilvy Group Thailand with 46 Acceptances. Ogilvy Australia and Ogilvy Taiwan also made strong contributions with 34 and 15 Acceptances apiece. Ogilvy New Zealand (11), 100% owned affiliate, The Brand Agency Perth (10) and VML Ogilvy Japan (8) also made healthy contributions.

Ogilvy ranked #1 in THE WORK 2023, having previously ranked #1 in THE WORK 2022 and #4 in THE WORK 2021.

With two agencies in the Top 6 best performers DDB has continued their recent Network success in THE WORK 2024, to rank #2. They move up from #3 ranking in THE WORK 2023 after previously ranking #4 in THE WORK 2022 and #3 in THE WORK 2021.

DDB Mudra India and DDB Australia both had excellent years, contributing 43 and 34 Acceptances respectively to DDB’s overall tally of 115 Acceptances. DDB New Zealand (19), DDB Hong Kong (10) and DDB Philippines (9) also performed strongly.

The third ranked Network in THE WORK 2024 is VML with 106 Acceptances – the largest contributions coming from VML Australia (38) and VML Thailand (21). VML India (10) VML Singapore (9) and VML New Zealand (9) also made healthy contributions.

In THE WORK 2023 VML ranked #5 after moving up from #7 in THE WORK 2022 and #12 in THE WORK 2021.

TBWA is the #4 ranked network this year with 90 Acceptances. Their top contributors being TBWA\SMP Philippines (22), TBWA Australia (17) and TBWA Singapore (13). Their offices in New Zealand, Hong Kong and Thailand all had 9 Acceptances each. Last year in THE WORK 2023 TBWA were the #1 Network having ranked at #5 in THE WORK 2022 and #2 in THE WORK 2021.

At #5 is Leo Burnett with 66 Acceptances lead by Leo Burnett Australia (21) and Leo Burnett Manila. Malaysia (11) and Thailand (8) were also significant contributors.

Rounding off the Top 6 is Dentsu with 60 Acceptances. Star performers were Dentsu Creative Taiwan (14) and Dentsu Creative Thailand and Dentsu Creative Thailand with 9 Acceptances each.
