Q: What size should I buy?
A: The Peekaru Hoodie™ is sized to fit the adult wearing it. Like any other item of clothing, you can wear it as loose or tight as you like and it can shared with someone who is within about 20 lbs of you. The sizing is standard, so if you normally wear a size medium shirt, a size medium Hoodie will fit you. The Peekaru Hoodie™ is made out of french terry fabric so there is quite a bit of stretch. Please buy your pre-pregnancy size, as the Hoodie will help flatter your new baby body, and will most likely stretch to fit. Due to the unique design of the Peekaru Hoodie™, the most important measurement is across your shoulders and around your armpit. The size of your breasts and hips do not usually matter in the sizing.

Q: Can I wear this on my back?
A: Yes you can!! The Peekaru Hoodie™ was designed with back carry in mind. To wear it on your back, please check out our wearing instructions. The trick to a back carry in the Peekaru Hoodie™ is to flip the hood until it looks like a cowl neck. This is a popular neckline for sweaters, and looks really cute with the Hoodie™!

Q: Will this be warm enough?
A: Everyone has a different body temperature, however, we have found that the Peekaru Hoodie™ works best between about 60° F and 40° F. When it’s colder than 40° F, you can add your coat over the hoodie. The unique design of the Peekaru Hoodie™ ensures that you will be sharing body heat with your baby, and you know how hot that gets! So keep in mind that it’s not just your temperature, but the shared heat between you and your baby that will help keep you both warm. The Peekaru Hoodie™ is perfect for spring and fall, as well as cool summer nights.

Q: Will the Peekaru Hoodie™ work in the snow and/or rain?
A: Nope. Because it is made from french terry fabric, it will absorb moisture just like your favorite sweatshirt. If you live in a wet climate, then the Peekaru Original™ or Peekaru Soft Shell™ may be a better fit for you.
