Q. What is the Cross Over Support System?
A. The Cross Over Support System are the straps that determine where the main support of the carrier is. When your baby is a newborn, the straps should be moved down to create a more narrow base while supporting your baby right around their bum. As your baby grows, the straps can be moved up so the base supports your child from knee to knee in a front carry (facing in) position. This revolutionary design allows this carrier to be used with a newborn, infant, or toddler without any extra inserts to deal with.

Q. Can I wear my baby facing out in this carrier?
A. Yes. Babies can be worn facing out in a front carry as soon as they can sit up unassisted. When facing out, move the Cross Over Support Straps down for a narrow base and pull the baby’s arms out over the straps coming around the side of your body. Make sure the babies hips are rotated so they are in a comfortable seated postion.

Q. Will this carrier fit me AND my husband?

Q. What is this carrier made of and how do I clean it?
A. The FreeHand Baby Carrier is made of soft, lightweight micro-suede so it wipes clean with a sponge and will not stain. It is also machine washable. And while it’s possible to dry the carrier in a dryer, it’s best to hang dry it so the foam padding inside the carrier doesn’t lose any of its durability.
